Editorial Policy

The Africaine des Sciences Sociales et de la Santé Publique (RASP) abides by the policies of its publisher, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Upon initial editorial review, an editor may submit an editorial reject decision, generally made within one week of submission. This decision means the manuscript is inappropriate for peer review and will proceed no further in the review process. Manuscripts deemed appropriate for peer review are sent to two independent peer reviewers for evaluation. The handling editor considers the peer reviews and the editor’s manuscript evaluation.
