A legacy to continue

The RASP was born in January 2010 through its first number: the number 00. Nianguiry Kanté, initiator and co-founder of the RASP, died on September 13, 2021. The multiple tributes and praises around the world and on the internet bear witness to a life well lived and a career that has touched many lives. As its “academic” home, the RASP is publishing a collection of tributes in the coming months, in the form of an international colloquium and a special issue. His death is also a moment to reflect on his intellectual journey.

Nianguiry Kanté with his friend Olivier Douville that the RASP be a useful documentation fund for students, teachers, decision-makers and researchers who find there a support for the dissemination of their work. Colleagues disseminating their research results in the RASP are indeed proof of this documentation fund. Indeed, the RASP whose articles are recognized by the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) has enabled many researchers to obtain advancements or hierarchies at the level of CAMES. The journal is also indexed in BASE (University of Bielefeld's academic indexing and archiving database). Articles published from over 20 countries in Africa, Europe and America. Moreover, this issue (Volume 3, number 2) contains 10 scientific articles by authors from Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Sweden.

Under the direction of the now Editor-in-Chief, Olivier Douville, as Managing Editor, I hope that this legacy of Nianguiry Kanté will continue to serve as a documentation and popularization fund for the scientific work of teacher-researchers! This is our duty!

Finally, we thank the reporters and editors for their support and contributions to the quality of the articles and notes that we publish. Happy New Year 2022!
